Job Context:
∎ Samaj Kallayan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous, and poverty-free society that ensures everyone`s basic needs and rights. SKUS has since the 2017 Rohingya refugee influx worked in Cox`s Bazar district with children adolescents, women, and men. Based on children`s, adolescents`, women, and human rights. SKUS has established quality learning and protection centers with support from different international donors, including UN agencies. SKUS has an agreement with MdM-F for the project of MHPSS services for the Rohingya community at Rohingya Camp in Ukhia Upazila under Cox`s Bazar District. SKUS is looking for a suitable candidate for the immediate appointment of Center Head (Women and Male Friendly Spaces ) for the project as mentioned above, supported by MdM-F.
∎ Report to : Psychologist
∎ Duration: 7 months (up to 31 May 2021), With possibility of extension

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The main tasks & Responsibilities of the Center head are, but not limited to:
∎ Participate in initial need assessment surveys of individuals and families at the camp level.
∎ To identify people in need and ensure safe and confidential referrals to the concerned psychologist as soon as identified.
∎ To prepare and request materials/supports which are needed for conducting the activities to the concerned supervisor.
∎ Provide a regular report to the concerned supervisor about the activities conducted.
∎ Participating in multidisciplinary teams, related workshops and training when required; also weekly supervision and team meetings.
∎ Maintains beneficiaries'/events/sessions records by reviewing feedback, events notes; logging events, and progress.
∎ Ensure that urgent and challenging cases are immediately discussed with direct supervisors
∎ Support MHPSS cases received at the centre and identified in the community through the provision of case management services to respond to the needs of beneficiaries, provide them information and resources to access services and make appropriate referrals to other service providers if required.
∎ Conduct, prepare, and help plan and organise activities with adolescent girls/boys with an understanding of the age range of adolescent girls/boys and varying risks adolescent girls/boys face.
∎ Work closely with the MHPSS team to ensure awareness of services in the community, facilitate referrals into and out of the community centre, and to support beneficiaries/participants on MHPSS related needs.
∎ Ensure updated filing and documentation of centre-based activities in line with SKUS tools/format.
∎ Ensure appropriate and cumulative tracking of beneficiaries/participants and documentation of all activities
∎ In the centre build positive, productive, trusting connections with adolescent girls/boys, their parents/caregivers, women/men and their communities, ensuring to maintain professional boundaries and humanitarian ethics at all times.
∎ WaSH: implementation of water, health and sanitation activities of the centre
∎ Implementing all related administrative activities linked to centre management
∎ Maintain flexibility to take on added responsibility as and when needed
∎ Summary of Key Functions:
∎ Under the overall supervision of the Psychologist, the centre head will be responsible and accountable for centre management, and linking of the MHPSS beneficiaries with support services in close coordination with other team members.
∎ Support other team members for the successful execution of different activities at the field level of the project.
∎ Provide consistent and reliable data available for reporting and problem-solving.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Fluency in the Rohingya dialect is mandatory
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO
∎ A strong commitment to gender-sensitive, inclusive and humanitarian works
∎ Ability to work with the multi-disciplinary team, flexibility to adapt to new roles, tasks, and situations as well as Willingness to travel as required
∎ Working Condition:
∎ The center head is based on the camp located at Ukhiya of Cox's Bazar district.
∎ She/he will spend approximately 90% of his/her time in the field.
∎ She/he has to work to ensure a conducive participatory approach in the center.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 - 40000 (Monthly)
∎ Negotiable based on qualification and experience
