∎ Coordinates with Shelter Supervisor/Business Development & Communication Manager/Shelter/NFI sector/donor (at the field level)
∎ ROLE PURPOSE:
∎ The Catchment Focal Point will work under the line management of Shelter Program Manager to provide programme implementation support and contribute to the efficient delivery and quality outputs in assigned catchment comprising the number of camps.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program Management
∎ Act as primary contact for SMS agency and CiC Office in regard to Shelter/NFI response in that catchment area.
∎ Communicate regularly with agencies implementing Shelter/NFI activities in the catchment area.
∎ Identify challenges, gaps, needs, and duplication of activities and communicate them to the Shelter team.
∎ Work closely with CiC office representative, SMS agency and CWC partner in the area to follow up on identified complaints and referrals from the community relating to shelter/NFI service provision.
∎ Coordinate and Deliver Emergency response, actively attend camp-based emergency preparedness and response meetings.
∎ Capacity Strengthening
∎ Manage and build technical capacities of the Field colleagues to carry out Shelter/NFI assessment properly during emergency.
∎ Assist in organizing and implementing technical training on Shelter/NFI and site improvement issues.
∎ Participate in different trainings nominated by the line manager.Information
∎ management and reporting
∎ With the Shelter team and the MEAL Manager, manage camp specific Shelter/NFI 4W and contact list for the catchment area
∎ Provide timely reports to Shelter/NFI Sector team and refer issues raised by CiCs or Sector partners that cannot be addressed at the camp level to the Shelter/NFI Sector team.
∎ Provide information on damage verification and provision of assistance to Shelter/NFI Sector team.
∎ Share technical guidance and shelter strategic documents with CiC office designated person.
∎ Coordination and Advocacy
∎ Ensure strong coordination between partners and team on the ground and required support and assistance to the Shelter team.
∎ Ensure adequately engages with the local structure, and that programme information and all advocacy issues are communicated as necessary.
∎ Maintain effective communication with Shelter sector representatives.Catchment Focal Point
∎ Coordinate/conduct Rapid Damage Verification and provision of assistance as soon as possible after receiving SMS report of shelter damage.
∎ Coordinate provision of/provide Shelter assistance to households referred by Protection actors and/or SMS.
∎ Develop minutes meetings to be shared with the Shelter team.
∎ Attend and actively participate in the camp coordination meetings on behalf of the sector partners in the camp, and relay key information to the Sector partners in the Camp.
∎ Attend meetings as and when invited by Shelter/NFI Sector.
∎ Safety and Security
∎ Asses and consult other partners to ensure security situation of planned locations is calms; Ensure risk assessment and share security information with his line manager.
∎ Provide timely incident report to the line manager as needed. General
∎ Deliver high quality results in line with the terms of reference agreed in advance - to do this in a way which maintains the reputation of the Humanitarian Department.

∎ sensitivity: i) Implement all work-related activities with a gender, disability and child

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years experience in similar function inFDMN camps, Cox's bazar.
∎ Strong presentation & negotiation skill is must.
∎ Keep strong coordination with other implementing agencies and local governmental authorities at field level.
∎ Knowledge on different standards (Sphere, Core Humanitarian Standards, etc).
∎ Good communication and leadership skills.
∎ Familiarity with the special context of refugee camps in Cox's Bazar is an asset.
∎ Language
∎ Good English skills (written and spoken).
∎ Cox's Bazar's Local dialect is an asset.
