• A restaurant cashier handles customer orders, processes payments, operates the POS system, provides friendly customer service, and ensures accuracy in transactions. They keep the cashier area clean, coordinate with the kitchen on orders, manage the cash drawer, and assist with takeout or dine-in needs.
• The cashier is the customer’s first and last point of contact, playing a key role in service quality and operational flow. They work in fast-paced food environments and must balance efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism while supporting both customers and restaurant staff.
• Restaurant kitchen staff prepare ingredients, cook dishes, and maintain food quality and safety. They also keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked while supporting smooth service operations.
