Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline, Bachelor degree in any discipline
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Household visit to identify and register vulnerable children, who are being abuse, neglect, child marriage, trafficking, exploited etc.
∎ Ensure children accessibility in necessary services i.e, medical, nutrition, mental, legal through referral pathway.
∎ Provide appropriate dignity or comfort item to affected children especially in cases of separated or unaccompanied children as needed.
∎ Conduct family tracing to reunite children separated from their parents or other relatives, which may include liaising with local authorities and/or other child protection agencies operating
∎ Report to the Protection Focal Person to identify trends or common risks and recommend steps to address or mitigate risk
∎ Identify and disseminate proper referral pathway to find out potential risk or other issue.
∎ Work in close collaboration with the community mobilisers to strengthen relationship with the community and to strengthen the referral system.
∎ Work with the child protection team to ensure linkage between case management and community-based child protection mechanism
∎ Ensure and maintain constant and transparent communication,collaboration with relevant stakeholders
∎ Prepare and update weekly case management report
∎ Coordinate and maintain liaison with other agencies offering case management services to children on referral and transfer of cases
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
