Job Context:
∎ Samaj Kallayan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous, and poverty-free society that ensures everyone`s basic needs and rights. SKUS has since the 2017 Rohingya refugee influx worked in Cox`s Bazar district with children adolescents, women, and men. Based on children`s, adolescents`, women, and human rights. SKUS has established quality learning and protection centers with support from different international donors, including UN agencies. SKUS has an agreement with MdM-F for the project of MHPSS/GBV/SRH services for the Rohingya and host community at Ukhia and Teknaf Upazila under Cox`s Bazar District. This program aims to ensure that crisis-affected populations have access to high-quality humanitarian services focusing on the promotion and increase accessibility of MHPSS/GBV/SRH concerns. The project will address MHPSS/GBV/SRG issues of the refugee and host community population currently residing in Rohingya Camp and nearby the camp areas in Ukhia and Teknaf Upazila under Cox`s Bazar District. SKUS is looking for a suitable candidate for the immediate appointment of a Case Manager (GBV) for the project as mentioned above, supported by MdM-F.
∎ Reportable to: Project Coordinator, SKUS.
∎ Duration of contract: 6 months Up to 31 December 2021 (with the possibility of extension).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the provision of participatory, comprehensive, goal-based, and individualized/community-based support and guidance, as well as care planning through the joint development of a care plan that matches needs, resources, and goals to available assistance, support systems, and GBV case management and referral services, aimed at ensuring basic needs are met and to enter at the minimum possible GBV service
∎ Provide GBV Case Management activities which are initial assessment to identify needs, develop a care plan and objectives according to the identified needs, conducting follow up sessions, making referrals for external services to be followed up
∎ Design, developed, adapt, and perform GBV prevention, responses and referral services for Rohibgya and host community people especially vulnaravle women, and adolocest girls
∎ Ensure all tools are GBV-survivor centered and tools, approach, data usage in case management are aligned with IASC guidelines and rules in confidentiality, dignity, safety and security.
∎ Prepare a monthly GBV presention and response activity plan in coordination with the Project Coordinator.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the center-based group activities conducted by facilitators in terms of quality of the services and facilitators' performance
∎ Participate in global/regional/local coordination meetings such as GBV-SS, METT, CiC sectors meeting in the camp, local government level meeitgn, to represent SKUS activities
∎ Establish a service mapping in terms of MHPSS/GBV/SRH actors in Camp-15, Ukhiya and Teknaf with collaboration of team
∎ Develop and adapt Information, Education and Communication Materials (IEC) to promote MHPSS/GBV/SRH services among the community
∎ Develop monitoring and evaluation tools by undertaking field visits and activity review actions monitoring project activities to identify shortfalls in delivery of GBV services and recommend changes to the teams in line with program objectives
∎ Maintain coordination and communication with CIC, Local government, other NGOs, community people, and other important stakeholders for subjects related to project activities
∎ Perform such other duties as may be assigned by project Coordinator/management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Previous experience in GBV prevention & response program in the Rohingya Response is highly desirable as well as sound knowledge of global guidelines of GBV services such as IASC and UN Agencies.
∎ Experience in community-based interventions, outreach activities community mobilization, GBV, SRH, MHPSS activities Child protection in emergencies or protection-related activities
∎ A strong commitment to PSEA code of conduct, gender-sensitive, inclusive and humanitarian works
∎ Ability to work with the multi-disciplinary team
∎ Willingness to travel as required
∎ Fluency in the Rohingya dialect is an asset
∎ Flexibility to adapt to new roles, tasks, and situations

∎ She will spend approximately 70% of his/her time in the field.
∎ She have to contact with GBV survivor, dissatisfied or abusive individuals.
