Employment Status: Full-time
Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Agriculture
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Value chain Development project especially in vegetables and other crops etc.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Selection of potential farmers for value chain Manage and oversee all activities including the formation of strong producer groups for vegetable, cereals, fruits, and livestock value chain.
∎ Identify and train lead farmers and local service providers and facilitate training for farmers.
∎ Facilitate producers' group for strong relationship building with the private sector and input service providers.
∎ Prepare monthly, and quarter work plans.
∎ Help Producer Groups prepare business plans, for ensuring more profits from specific value chains.
∎ Design appropriate training modules to train the staff team, producers group and Local Service Providers (LSP).
∎ Capacity development initiatives to enhance confidence and skills among the reference people that will sustain beyond the project period.
∎ Establish linkages and strengthen the relationship with service providers, and relevant Government Authorities, to make them supportive and responsive to the producer groups.
∎ Identify new actors and engage them in a specific value chain.
∎ Contribute to reporting, monitoring, and providing technical guidance to staff members.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Considerable experience in Planning, Strategic thinking, Analytical skills and
∎ Result-driven personality
∎ Substantial experience (minimum 4 years) in implementing value chain or marketing projects.
∎ Confidence and belief in sustainable social-economic development through strong cooperation between private sectors, NGOs, and governments.
∎ Clear understanding of pro-poor value chain development engaging private sectors.
∎ A strong commitment to gender equality and addressing other diversity perspectives; and direct experience in supporting women's empowerment, and rights-based approaches to poverty alleviation.
Salary: Tk. 22000 (Monthly)
