Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement robust strategies to achieve sales targets and drive substantial revenue growth, contributing to the company’s long-term vision to double market share and become a strong second player in the home appliance and consumer electronics market.
∎ Drive retail transformation by implementing innovative sales techniques, optimizing store operations, and enhancing the customer experience to ensure consistent growth and profitability.
∎ Set clear, measurable sales targets for individual stores and the overall retail network, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
∎ Lead, mentor, and motivate store managers and sales staff to ensure targets are met, performance is optimized, and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently exceeded.
∎ Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and competitor analysis to identify high-potential regions and locations for new stores, contributing to the company’s goal of opening 100+ stores in the first year of expansion.
∎ Oversee the site selection process and collaborate with the real estate team to ensure strategic placements of new retail locations.
∎ Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal sales strategies, and product launches that drive customer engagement and boost sales.
∎ Formulate strategies for upcoming product launches, seasonal promotions, and clearance events in line with company objectives.
∎ Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team that reflects the company's values and objectives.
∎ Establish strong performance management systems, including regular feedback, performance evaluations, and the setting of clear expectations.
∎ Implement performance-enhancing incentive programs to motivate and reward top performers and drive sales excellence.
∎ Regularly analyze and report on sales performance, identifying trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
∎ Provide detailed insights and recommendations to the Sales Director and senior management team, utilizing data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve effectiveness.
∎ Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for sales growth and operational efficiency.

∎ The Business Development Manager for the Retail Sales Channel will be instrumental in driving the company’s ambitious expansion goals and ensuring retail excellence across 1,000+ stores. This senior role demands a strategic leader who will not only oversee sales and retail shop operations but also develop and execute a growth-focused retail strategy. Working closely with the Sales Director and senior management, the manager will guide the company’s retail operations and sales teams towards achieving aggressive growth targets and strengthening market leadership.
