Role Purpose
To provide accessible, timely, and quality medical care to employees by delivering primary healthcare services, managing workplace injuries and emergencies, and promoting preventive health practices. The Medical Officer will ensure employees receive professional medical support that contributes to their well-being, safety, and overall productivity.
Provide primary medical care and treatment to factory employees and staff.
Conduct daily OPD services at the factory medical centre.
Visit the Corporate Office or Service Centre once a week (as assigned) to provide medical consultation and support.
Manage workplace injuries, accidents, and emergency medical situations efficiently.
Monitor occupational health risks and implement preventive healthcare measures.
Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations of workers.
Maintain accurate medical records, treatment registers, and health reports in compliance with legal and audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, buyer compliance standards, and factory health regulations.
Advise management on workplace health, hygiene, and safety improvements.
Coordinate with HR, Compliance, and Safety departments regarding employee health matters.
Refer critical or specialized cases to external hospitals when required.
Conduct health awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, maternal health, and disease prevention.
Monitor medicine stock, first aid supplies, and medical equipment at the factory clinic.
Prepare health-related reports for audits, inspections, government authorities, and official visits.
Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and management instructions.
Perform any other duties assigned by management as required.
Employment Status: Contractual, Full-Time
Workplace: Factory – 5 Days per Week and Once a week visit to either Corporate Office (Gulshan 2) or Service Center (Eskaton).
