Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Market & Business Strategy

  • Develop SEMCORP’s 1–3 year business development roadmap (markets, sectors, partnerships).

  • Evaluate new business opportunities, service lines, and expansions with feasibility analysis.

  • Identify target segments and positioning strategies for each service category.

  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning

  • Design GTM plans for new services and business units.

  • Define pricing strategy, customer offers, promotional plans, and competitive angles.

  • Provide input to Digital Marketing on target groups, messaging, and funnel needs.

  • Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct ongoing research on industry trends, competitor activities, pricing, and market gaps.

  • Present data-driven recommendations to management for strategic decisions.

  • Cross-Department Strategy Coordination

  • Align Digital Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, and Operations into one unified growth plan.

  • Approve content direction, pitch materials, and campaign angles prepared by Digital Marketing.

  • Ensure seamless lead-to-conversion pipeline across teams.

  • Partnership Development

  • Identify and secure partnerships with consultants, contractors, developers, institutions, and key decision-makers.

  • Explore channel partners, referral networks, and B2B alliances to accelerate market access.

  • Performance Planning & KPI Ownership

  • Set and monitor monthly/quarterly revenue targets, acquisition targets, and pipeline targets.

  • Present performance reports to Management and propose corrective strategies.

  • Client Development & Relationship Management

  • Identify potential clients and build strong relationships with engineers, consultants, developers, and facility owners.

  • Maintain a high-quality client meeting schedule (weekly/monthly).

  • Lead presentations, technical discussions, and service capability meetings.

  • Sales Funnel & Pipeline Management

  • Create and manage structured sales pipelines using CRM or internal tools.

  • Ensure timely follow-up on leads generated by Digital Marketing and Customer Support.

  • Track conversion stages and resolve blockers with relevant teams.

  • Proposal, Quotation & Bid Management

  • Prepare proposals, service solutions, commercial offers, and RFQ responses.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract conditions with customers.

  • Collaborate with technical/application teams for solution accuracy.

  • Project Coordination (BD-Side)

  • After contract award, coordinate with Project/Application teams for schedule, material approval, and client communication.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction feedback loop goes to Customer Support and Market Development.

  • Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain weekly reports:

  • Meetings

  • Pipeline

  • Revenue forecast

  • Competitor news

  • Client feedback

  • Prepare monthly business review decks for Management.
