Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Business Development Executive (Sales and Marketing) will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in the power and electrical industry, with a focus on transformers and related electrical products. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of transformer products, the electrical distribution and power sector, and be capable of building long-term relationships with EPC contractors, utility companies, government agencies, and industrial clients.
∎ Promote and sell transformers, substation equipment, and related electrical products to industrial clients, government utilities (e.g., DPDC, PDB), developers, and contractors.
∎ Identify potential customers and new market segments to expand business opportunities.
∎ Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat business.
∎ Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategy.
∎ Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and quotations.
∎ Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and exhibitions.
∎ Collaborate with the technical team to ensure product offerings meet client needs.
∎ Visit client sites and construction projects as needed for sales follow-ups.
∎ Prepare regular reports on sales activities, targets, and market developments.
∎ Meet or exceed assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
