As we scale our operations and expand our user base, we are looking for driven, communicative, and ambitious Sales Associates to be at the forefront of our growth.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Business Development Associate at Priyo Pay, you will be a key brand ambassador — engaging potential customers, onboarding new users, and driving adoption of Priyo Pay's payment and financial products. You will work closely with the Operations and Customer Experience teams to ensure a seamless client journey from first contact to active usage. This is a front-line, people-facing role that demands confidence, clarity of communication, and a genuine passion for financial technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▸       Actively identify, approach, and onboard new individual and business customers onto the Priyo Pay platform.

▸       Present and explain Priyo Pay's product offerings — including cross-border payments, payroll solutions, and marketplace services — in a clear, compelling manner to prospective clients.

▸       Conduct product demonstrations and walkthroughs for potential customers, both in-person and virtually.

▸       Build and nurture relationships with freelancers, SMEs, and businesses engaged in international trade or remote work.

▸       Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs as set by the Head of Operations.

▸       Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and conversion status using internal CRM or tracking tools.

▸       Collect and relay customer feedback to the product and compliance teams to support continuous improvement.

▸       Stay current on Priyo Pay's evolving product features, compliance requirements, and regulatory guidelines under BSA/AML frameworks.

▸       Represent Priyo Pay at community events, fintech expos, and professional gatherings relevant to the Bangladeshi business and remittance ecosystem.

▸       Collaborate with the Customer Experience and KYC teams to ensure smooth and compliant customer onboarding.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's/Masters degree from any of the following institutions:

▸       North South University (NSU)

▸       University of Dhaka (DU)

▸       American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB)

▸       Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB)

▸       Jahangirnagar University (JU)

▸       University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB)

▸       United International University (UIU)

Preferred fields of study: Business Administration (BBA/MBA), Finance, Marketing, Economics, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related disciplines.

Experience

▸       Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

▸       Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, customer acquisition, banking, fintech, or related fields will receive preference.

▸       Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets or acquire clients — even through internships or part-time roles — will be an advantage.

Skills & Attributes

▸       Exceptionally fluent in both Bengali and English — verbal and written communication must be confident and professional.

▸       Highly presentable, well-groomed, and capable of representing a fintech brand at a professional standard.

▸       Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly across diverse customer profiles.

▸       Sharp, analytical, and quick-thinking — able to understand products deeply and explain them simply.

▸       A fast learner with an open, curious mindset and the ability to absorb new information at lightning speed.

▸       Self-motivated and target-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.

▸       Comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-conscious fintech environment.

▸       Basic proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital communication tools.

▸       Understanding of or interest in remittance, digital payments, freelancing ecosystem, or fintech will be a strong plus.
