  • Effective communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Hands-on experience with proposal tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF editors.

  • Exposure to public-sector, donor-funded, or government procurement processes will be an advantage.

  • Familiarity with system development lifecycles and requirement documentation (BRD, SRS).

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in business analysis, bid management, proposal development, or project coordination roles.

  • Hands-on experience in reviewing and responding to RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and ToRs.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (technical, delivery, finance, HR) to develop compliant bid submissions.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Bid win ratio / proposal success rate based on assigned submissions.

  • Quality and accuracy of proposal documentation, including clarity, consistency, and compliance.

  • Stakeholder satisfaction, measured through feedback from internal teams and management.

Working Relationships

  • Government and Donor Agencies

  • Partner Organizations and Subcontractors

  • Vendors and Consultants involved in bid preparation



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose

The Bid / Proposal Analyst is responsible for reviewing and analyzing procurement documents, structuring bid responses, and coordinating proposal development activities to ensure compliant, accurate, and high-quality submissions. The role ensures effective collaboration with internal teams, adherence to solicitation requirements, and timely delivery of complete and competitive proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine procurement notices and solicitation documents (RFPs, EOIs, RFQs, ToRs) to understand client expectations, technical scope, and evaluation methodology.
  • Break down requirements into actionable tasks, submission roadmaps, and response outlines.
  • Prepare structured bid tools such as compliance trackers, response frameworks, and delivery schedules.
  • Support bid strategy by highlighting risks, assumptions, dependencies, and areas requiring clarification.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather inputs related to technical approach, staffing, timelines, and organizational credentials.
  • Compile proposal components including implementation methodology, solution narratives, company experience, expert profiles, and mandatory forms.
  • Review proposal drafts to ensure alignment across sections, consistent language, correct formatting, and proper document control.
  • Perform final submission readiness checks to ensure adherence to all instructions and mandatory requirements.
  • Maintain visibility on ongoing and upcoming bids by tracking milestones, deadlines, and progress updates.
