Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our engineering team at Nasir Quality Glass Industries Ltd., Natiapara (Dubail), Delduar, Tangail. The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering and a strong foundation in mechanical systems, process optimization and equipment maintenance within an industrial environment. You will play a crucial role in improving production efficiency, designing mechanical components and ensuring the reliability of manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and components used in glass manufacturing, including furnaces, conveyors, and forming machines.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot mechanical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.

  • Collaborate with process engineers to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for critical equipment, ensuring the longevity and reliability of machinery.

  • Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.

  • Assist in the design and modification of tooling, fixtures, and jigs to improve production efficiency and product consistency.

  • Prepare technical documentation, including maintenance procedures, design specifications, and process improvement reports.

  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data, proposing upgrades or replacements when necessary to optimize productivity.

  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components that meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
