Education: Have post-graduation from a University approved by the UGC major in Islamic Studies/Arabic/Al-Fiqh, Business Administration/ Economics/any other disciplines along with Kamil from any reputed Govt. approved Alia/Kamil Madrasha and having no third class/division in academic career.

Additional Requirements:

Minimum 08 years of on job experience in relevant desk/field in reputed Islami Banking Organization.

Must have knowledge in Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, Islamic Finance & Banking, Fiqhatul Muamalat, Islami Jurisprudence along with contemporary issues (Muqtadaul Haal).

In-depth knowledge of Islami Sariah, Islami Asset & Liability Products, Profit Distribution System based on Weightage and Income Sharing Ratio-ISR etc.

Strong communication skill in Bengali, Arabic and English.

Problem solving & decision making capacity.

Should have sound knowledge about computer applications such as MS Office, Excel etc.

Should have expertise to run assigned technical job independently.

Need to perform any relevant job as assigned by the Line Manager/ Management.

Capable to work under pressure.

Must be hard working with fervent attitude.

Amicable personality & Positive attitude.

Should be practicing in Muamalat of Islami Shariah.

Preferably Hafiz-ul-Quran.Capable to work as a team player.

Responsibilities & Context:

Inspection/Investigation/enquiry/review of the Branches in the light of Islamic Shariah principles complying risk based Internal Control & Compliance-ICC Shariah Audit Guideline of Bangladesh Bank.

Prepare inspection report following Shariah Audit Guideline of Bangladesh Bank along with risk grading and follow up on the compliances.

Ensure implementations of guidelines/recommendations given by the Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Bank.

Prepare memo for meeting on Shariah Supervisory Committee.

Conduct research on Shariah issues/new product and provide necessary assistance to management on compliances on Shariah principles, etc.

Assist Member Secretary of the Shariah Supervisory Committee to perform various activities for smooth functioning of Islami Banking Operations.

Provide necessary assistance in operation of the Bank in order to ensure full compliance of Shariah Principles.

Develop new products and derivatives and prepare related PPGs based on Islami Shariah Principle considering market requirement.

Perform any other relevant duties and authorities as assigned by the Authority.
