Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering (preferably specialized in Fabric Manufacturing/Knitting Technology) from any reputed university.
Strong knowledge of circular knitting technology and knit fabric manufacturing processes.
Good understanding of yarn properties, fiber behavior, fabric construction, and knitting parameters.
Strong troubleshooting capability in knitting-related production and quality issues.
Knowledge of fabric testing methods, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and problem-solving ability.
Strong coordination, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Quality, R&D, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
Good communication skills in both English and Bangla (written and verbal).
Strong hands-on knowledge of modern digital tools and technologies, including AI-based applications, MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), data analysis, and reporting tools such as Power BI.
Ability to utilize technology and data analytics for process improvement, productivity enhancement, and decision-making.

Manage and monitor yarn inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted knitting production and minimize machine downtime.
Coordinate with Production Planning, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of required yarns based on production plans and forecasts.
Conduct regular yarn inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
Develop and implement best practices for yarn storage, handling, conditioning, and preservation to prevent quality deterioration.
Analyze yarn consumption trends and optimize yarn utilization to reduce wastage and improve cost efficiency.
Evaluate incoming yarn quality including count, strength, evenness, contamination, and other relevant parameters as per company standards.
Identify yarn-related quality issues and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain detailed records of yarn quality inspections, supplier performance, and improvement initiatives.
Utilize ERP/MIS systems for tracking yarn inventory, consumption, procurement status, and production requirements.
Prepare analytical reports on yarn availability, consumption patterns, shortages, and optimization opportunities.
Monitor and support daily knitting operations to ensure smooth production flow and achievement of production targets.
Ensure proper machine settings, process parameters, and operational standards are maintained for different fabric constructions.
Analyze knitting performance indicators including efficiency, productivity, machine utilization, and downtime.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
Support troubleshooting of knitting defects such as holes, barré, needle lines, GSM variation, spirality, and fabric irregularities.
Ensure compliance with production standards, customer requirements, and quality specifications.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to improve machine performance and reduce breakdown losses.
Ensure fabric quality standards are maintained throughout the knitting process.
Monitor critical quality parameters including GSM, width, loop length, stitch density, appearance, and dimensional stability.
Analyze quality issues and implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plans.
Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to improve first-time-right (FTR) performance.
Establish preventive quality practices to minimize knitting defects and customer complaints.
Maintain technical documentation related to quality performance and improvement activities.
Develop new knit fabric products from concept development to prototype and commercial production.
Experiment with different yarn types, blends, fibers, and knitting techniques to create innovative fabric structures.
Support development of new constructions including single jersey, rib, interlock, pique, fleece, jacquard, and other specialty fabrics.
Conduct trials on new yarns, machines, and process parameters to evaluate fabric performance.
Analyze existing knitting processes and identify opportunities for improvement in quality, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
Perform fabric testing and performance evaluation including shrinkage, GSM, dimensional stability, appearance, and durability.
Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Production, Quality, and Marketing teams for successful product commercialization.
Prepare technical specifications, development reports, trial records, and presentations for management review.
Stay updated with global knitting technologies, sustainable materials, market trends, and industry best practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in knitting operations through process optimization and technical solutions.
Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities in efficiency, quality, and cost.
Support implementation of lean manufacturing practices, waste reduction initiatives, and productivity improvement projects.
Provide technical guidance and training support to knitting teams for process excellence.
Maintain updated knowledge of modern knitting machines, automation technologies, and fabric innovation.
