Experience:
B.Sc. in Textile Engineering, majoring in Wet Processing / Fabric Manufacturing, from any reputed university.
Must have 1 year of experience for Asst Officer and a minimum of 2 years of Experience for Officer in relevant field;
Leadership and Strategic management skills & Strong analytical technical skill.
Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills;
Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives;
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PPT;
Execute daily production plans and report progress to the Production Manager
Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery of knitted and dyed fabrics
Maintain required quality standards as per buyer specifications
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Merchandising, QC, Maintenance)
Monitor production efficiency, wastage, and cost control
Identify issues and take corrective actions to avoid delays or reprocess
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
Plan and execute dyeing batches based on fabric type and capacity
Ensure optimum machine utilization and resource efficiency
Achieve production targets with minimum reprocess
Control dyeing cycle time and batch consistency
Manage finishing processes (drying, compacting, softener application)
Ensure fabric meets required GSM, shrinkage, spirality, and hand feel
Optimize machine parameters for consistent finishing quality
Ensure accurate shade matching (lab dip to bulk)
Monitor color fastness and batch consistency
Identify and resolve dyeing defects (uneven dyeing, barre, staining)
Ensure compliance with buyer chemical and quality standards
Operate and monitor knitting machines as per production plan
Ensure correct settings (gauge, stitch length, diameter)
Achieve required GSM, width, and fabric structure
Minimize machine downtime and production loss
Inspect fabric for defects (needle lines, holes, oil stains, barre)
Ensure fabric meets required specifications and appearance standards
Implement corrective actions for recurring issues
Ensure yarn availability as per production plan
Control yarn consumption and wastage
Maintain yarn lot segregation to avoid shade variation
Verify yarn quality before production use
Maintain accurate production and inventory records
Coordinate yarn, fabric, and process flow between departments
Support sample development and trial runs when required
Assist in process improvement and efficiency enhancement initiatives
