Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, costing, and sourcing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (ERP, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities & Context:
Manage end-to-end merchandising activities from product development through to order shipment.
Act as the primary point of contact between buyers and suppliers to ensure clarity and timely flow of information.
Oversee costing, sampling, order placement, production follow-up, and shipment coordination.
Evaluate and negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
Supervise and mentor junior merchandisers to enhance team performance. Collaborate with quality assurance, production, and logistics teams to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards.
Analyze customer preferences, market trends, and sales data to guide product planning and assortment.
Ensure adherence to compliance, testing, and documentation requirements as per buyer standards. Ensure coordination warehouse; monitor inventory report from warehouse on a regular basis.
Also, you need to prepare style coloring report at the end of a style completely shipped out.
Facilitate timely goal setting across all departments of the plant by providing support to implement corporate guidelines on the goal-setting process.
ZARA customer related experience preferable.
