Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems
In-depth knowledge of industrial sewing machines and CAD machines
Proficient in maintenance and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems
Working knowledge of fire detection and safety systems
Hands-on experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices
Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Responsibilities & Context:
Operation & Maintenance
- Oversee the routine and preventive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of Generator, Compressor, Boiler, Gerber, Cutter machines, CAD machines, air conditioners, and other factory machinery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly.
- System Monitoring & Improvement
- Monitor performance metrics and initiate improvement activities to enhance system reliability.
- Recommend and implement system upgrades for improved efficiency and safety.
Team Management
- Supervise and guide the maintenance team in daily tasks and emergency repairs.
- Provide technical training to junior technicians and maintenance staff.
Fire Safety Systems
- Ensure all fire detection and alarm systems are in working condition.
- Liaise with fire safety vendors for maintenance, testing, and statutory compliance.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Vendor & Resource Coordination
- Manage coordination with suppliers and contractors for spares, servicing, and procurement.
- Evaluate vendor performance and manage AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).
