Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the subcontracting of logistics services, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to ensure smooth movement of unwashed goods and washed goods.
∎ Coordinate with Sub Contract AGM, Merchant and Internal Audit & Accounts Team to align logistics operations with business goals.
∎ Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance to ensure timely and efficient service.
∎ Ensure all subcontracted logistics operations comply with local transportation regulations.
∎ Manage documentation for customs clearance, import/export regulations, and tax compliance.
∎ Stay updated on government policies, tariffs, and trade agreements affecting logistics and commercial operations.
∎ Act as a key liaison between internal teams (Wash Production, Merchant, Accounts & Finance and Internal Audit) and subcontractors.
∎ Ensure timely updates to all stakeholders regarding Washed Goods Delivery status, delays, and risk mitigation strategies.
∎ Implement a system for tracking deliveries and resolving any logistics disruptions proactively.
∎ Maintain detailed records of subcontractor agreements, and performance reports.
∎ Prepare periodic reports on logistics operations.
∎ Present insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
