Educational Requirements:
∎ Honor's /Masters in any discipline from any recognized University, A Degree in Textile Design/ Textile Technology is preferred.

∎ 4 to 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategically source business and seasonally relevant fabrics for the region and promote those opportunities to relevant working partners like Product Managers, Designers, Sourcing Team, Sales Managers and Buyers
∎ Identify and establish key fabric trends for the upcoming season covering woven and jersey fabric across all categories.
∎ Ensuring smooth & timely supply of all Fiber, Yarn Fabric for the smooth production and exports of garments of the entire Division
∎ Attend trade shows, conduct mill and shop visits to research the new product trends and technology
∎ Work with product managers and merchandise teams to review & manage fabric cost targets
∎ Actively manage sourcing critical path
∎ Plan and execute the establishment of new global sourcing routes and manage the fabric supply base and expand the respective network in Bangladesh and overseas countries
∎ Proactively develop commercial trend fabrics
∎ Costings of fabrics cross functionally
∎ Work closely with fabric technical team to comply with necessary requirements
∎ Preparation of annual budget for procurement of the relevant items from local & international sources & to organize fund for opening LCs to import them
∎ Assessment of vendors' prices, conducting market-survey and making comparative price & quality analysis of all merchandises and keeping relevant reports and records and undertaking cost control initiatives in every possible way to ensure cost minimization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 6 years' in fabric sourcing experience with at least 4 years in any reputed Garments, Textile industry
∎ Possess comprehensive fabric knowledge including all woven and jersey, light weight and heavy weight fabrics
∎ Have strong trend focus, commercial awareness, a keen sense of fashion and the ability to interpret fabric trends
∎ • Understanding of Textile Processes - spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing
∎ Good fabric sourcing network both in Bangladesh and overseas countries
∎ Excellent communication and presentation skills
∎ A confident presenter, with the ability to deliver compelling fabric presentations to buyers and designers
∎ Good management skills, confident, self-motivated and team player
∎ Ability to undertake travel, when necessary
Salary: Negotiable
