Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintenance and trouble-shoot of ETP independently for the entire group.
∎ Conducts periodic ETP plant inspections; follows recommended preventative maintenance schedules like centrifugal Pump/Motor/Air blower, pipeline, turbo compressors, aeration tanks, clarification tanks & sludge cleaning work of all tanks etc. and an ultra-violet disinfecting system; develops additional maintenance procedures as needed; inspects and repairs pumps, motor, air blower, pipe and related plant equipment's.
∎ To take decisions to divert / bypass/ distribute the flow in the event of disruptions / breakdown of mechanical or electrical equipment until resumption is in place and repairs / replacements are successfully carried out.
∎ Maintenance and trouble-shooting of grit removal devices, pumps, aerators, valves, etc. in directing the effluent and settled sludge to various units for / after treatment.
∎ Oversees and participates in the installation and inspection of new sewer lines and services.
∎ Performs the installation, maintenance and repair of the physical plant and all equipment.
∎ Reviews and approves the design and installation of sewer extensions and building sewers proposed by local authority and 3rd party auditor.
∎ Ensures that the maintenance plans for the treatment plant, sewers and building sewers are up to date.
∎ Analyzes and evaluates operating and maintenance procedures through monitoring of day-to-day operations.
∎ Assist in the performance of regular and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment and machinery.
∎ On call to respond to emergencies and breakdowns at the plant and pump stations.
∎ Any other responsibility as and when assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ With five years' practical experience in Maintenance or Design of ETP will be given preference
∎ Thoroughness, independence and excellent written and oral communication skills;
∎ Skilled in use of power tools as well as electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical repairs;
∎ Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and Experience in ERP.
∎ Working knowledge of the operation, methods and procedures of an ETP plant.
∎ Working knowledge on PLC, Digital & Analog Signals, 2 & 4 wired instrument set up and calibration.
∎ Working knowledge of the machinery used in daily treatment and pump stations.
∎ Thorough knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical equipment and the ability to diagnose and correct routine equipment malfunction; also, knowledge of power tools as well as electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical repairs.
∎ Proficient in safety procedures when performing work in order to prevent risk and accidents
∎ Critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems;
