Responsibilities & Context:

JMI Group is one of the most promising, dynamic business conglomerates in Bangladesh. Covers the sectors like medical devices, pharmaceuticals, health care services, real estate, printing & packaging, home appliances, primary energy (LPG) including extended value chain of LPG SECTORS LIKE LPG Cylinders, auto tank etc.

We are looking for smart, dynamic and goal-oriented applicants for Legal Team

  • Drafting various legal letters, official correspondence, reply letter, legal notice, affidavit, agreement, contract, deed etc.

  • Providing accurate and pragmatic legal opinion on various kinds of documents, transactions, incidents and business/contractual matters having legal implications.

  • Dealing with land related issues including ability to review and vet land documents.

  • Interactions with the clients, conducting initial meetings with the clients, taking down details, receive documents, keeping in touch with clients and follow-up for operational efficiency.

  • Maintaining Liaison with External Advocates/ Counsels for filing and defending civil, criminal, legal metrology cases and any other legal issues.

  • Preparing various kinds of deeds and agreements relating to property transfer and mortgage and due course registration of the same with the Sub-Registrar Office.

  • Review, verification and finalization of all Sale Deeds and allotment Agreement and Deed of Agreement for all departments.

  • Drafting, reviewing and providing strategic legal input for implementing internal control related documents, including but not limited to process, policy, rules and regulations.

  • Maintaining liaison and coordination with different regulatory authorities related to business of the Company.
