• LLB/ LLM from a recognized university.

• Must be an enrolled Advocate of the Bangladesh Bar Council and actively engaged in legal practice

Demonstrated expertise in:

• Legal Notice and Legal Risk Assessment

• Corporate and Company law matters

• Criminal Litigation

• Legal Drafting & Documentation

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

• Experience in providing legal services to corporate organizations will be highly preferred.

JMI Group is seeking an experienced and proactive practicing Advocate to provide legal support and advisory services to the companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing legal matters, advising management on appropriate legal actions, and safeguarding the company's legal interests.

Job Responsibilities

• Review legal notices, replies, petitions, agreements, representations, and other legal documents as required.

• Provide legal opinions and strategic advice on matters affecting the Company's business operations.

• Handle and advise on corporate and Company law matters, including regulatory and compliance issues.

• Advise on criminal cases and related legal proceedings involving the Company.

• Liaise and maintain effective coordination with the Company's panel lawyers, external counsels, and relevant regulatory authorities.

• Monitor the progress of ongoing litigation and ensure timely reporting to the management.

• Identify potential legal risks and recommend preventive measures to protect the Company's interests.

• Support management in resolving legal disputes and regulatory matters efficiently.
