Experience:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management

• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA)/ Supply Chain Management/Procurement & Logistics / Hospital Management from a recognized university.

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

• Having at least 10(ten) to 15(fifteen) years working experience in the field of International & Local (NCB) procurement of various items for tertiary level specialized hospital in the feeder post. In all disciplines minimum 7(seven) years service shall be in the immediate equivalent post like Manager, Deputy Manager or, Sr. Executive (Procurement & Purchase or Supply Chain Management unit) in a large tertiary level hospital/medical college hospital/ healthcare field/organization.

• Should have practical experience in the following business area i.e.

• a) Ensure procurement of items meets approved specifications, approved quality standards.

• b) Monitor stock levels in coordination with stores to prevent stock-out or over-stocking of critical items.

• c) Assist in vendor evaluation, enlistment and performance review.

• d) Handle procurement through RFQ, Tender (NCB or, ICB) or direct purchase as per hospital procurement policy & also PPR-2008 & PPA-2006 and also PPR-2025.

• e) Support import procurement activities, LC processing, and coordinate with banks and clearing agents, if applicable.

• f) Ability to prepare RFQ, Open Tendering Method (OTM) document preparation i.e. NCB, ICB or, direct purchase comparative statements, purchase proposals and official correspondence to the vendors, foreign principals, DAM Authority or others regulatory body, if necessary from time to time.

• g) Extensive experience in procurement of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, surgical items, consumables, laboratory reagents, and hospital support services.

• h) Proven expertise in tendering processes, bid evaluation, contract management, price negotiation, and framework agreements.

• i) Strong understanding of local and international procurement regulations, vendor prequalification, and compliance requirements relevant to the healthcare sector.

• j) Experience in managing critical and emergency procurements ensuring uninterrupted hospital operations.

• k) Ability to coordinate effectively with clinical departments, biomedical

• engineering, finance, and pharmacy to assess needs and ensure quality procurement.

• 1) Experience in vendor performance evaluation, inventory coordination, and cost-control measures..

• m) Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising procurement teams and ensuring adherence to ethical standards, transparency, and accountability.

• n) Proficiency in ERP systems, hospital management software, e-procurement platforms, and also MS Office applications.
