Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and Bengali
∎ Computer literacy and expertise in Microsoft Office and other digital platform/tools
∎ Excellent analytical ability and critical thinking.
∎ Experience/Professional Entitlement Requirements: At least 5-6 years of working experience in law firms/chambers and in the HCD.
∎ Permission to practice in the High Court Division is a must as the role will primarily involve conducting hearings before the HCD.
∎ (Candidates who do not meet these requirements shall be automatically disqualified and are hence discouraged from applying)
∎ The candidates must meet the following-
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Drafting Writs, Plaints, Applications, Legal Notice, etc. on various legal issues for High Court Division and Appellate Division. Assisting the Partners with hearings as well as conducting hearings solely before various benches of the Hon’ble High Court Division.
∎ Conducting meetings face to face as well as virtually with clients, etc.
∎ Sunday to Thursday (10am to 4pm at the SC Chamber then 8pm to 11pm at Dhanmondi Chamber)
∎ Saturday (7pm to 11pm)
