Job Context:
∎ Offsite/onsite review and supervision, A/C information query and reply, freeze/unfreeze order query and provide related instruction to branch & NBR Register update.
∎ Designation: JO-SO
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reply to queries regarding NBR, CIC & CID. Settlement of unclaimed deposit. Statement verification for the embassy. Upload Rational Input Template files on Bangladesh Bank web pages. Visit the branch service points to check the compliance status. Make spot rectifications of the detected irregularities. Prepare visit reports and submit them to the concerned authorities. Follow up on compliance status. Monitor Various operational issues through intranet and pursue rectification.
∎ Back-up of other desks: Act as a backup of other wings of the Unit/ MOD. Conduct operational review of branches as and when instructed by management.
∎ Any ad hoc responsibility assigned by the management
∎ Proper record keeping& filing (both physically and electronically)
∎ Personal Development: i) To stay updated of the banking industry and obtain necessary training/certifications in this regard ii) Undertake new challenges
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong knowledge of banking law and practice esp. Branch banking.
∎ Strong command over English & Bangla.
∎ Problem solving capacity.
