Required Qualifications:

• Strong professional network and working relationships with airlines, co-loaders, ground handling agents, and airport authorities.

• Proven experience in negotiating air freight rates with Airlines.

• Proficiency in ERP platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight operational deadlines.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5-6 years of proven experience in Air Freight operations within a reputed freight forwarding organization.

• Strong understanding of international air cargo operations, including key trade lanes, market dynamics, and regulatory compliance (IATA, customs, and aviation authorities).

• Experience in managing relationships with airlines, co-loaders, and overseas partners to optimize service performance and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of air freight import and export operations efficiently.

• Maintain strong relationships with airlines, agents, and clients to ensure competitive rates and reliable service.

• Monitor and optimize air freight processes, ensuring full compliance with IATA and local regulations.

• Handle booking, documentation, and shipment tracking in a timely manner.

• Identify new business opportunities and assist the sales/commercial team with client acquisition and retention.

• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

• Prepare freight invoices accurately and manage Daily Status Reports (DSR) for customers and management.

• Plan and coordinate upcoming air export/import shipments.

• Communicate effectively with overseas partners for shipment coordination and rate approvals.

• Negotiate with airlines and co-loaders regarding rates, space, and AWB stock.

• Prepare and execute necessary documents (Airway Bills, Manifests, Invoices, EDI Data, etc.).

• Follow established SOPs and KPIs to ensure service excellence.

• Conduct proactive sales with existing and new customers, arranging meetings as necessary.

• Follow up with local shippers/customers for timely payment collection.

• Handle discrepancies such as EGM/IGM errors, shipment mismatches, or cargo issues.

• Provide prompt support through phone, email, WhatsApp, WeChat, and other communication platforms (24/7 service).

• Generate and share daily and monthly shipment reports and account statements.
