Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Civil Engineering from any reputed University/ Polytechnic Institute/College

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that all civil engineering activities, particularly the pond re-excavation, calculation volume of earth, leveling, dressing and turfin according to the design of the pond and are delivered in an efficient, equitable, accountable and in BRAC standards.
∎ Assist the project team in overall planning, budgeting, implementation, and monitoring of the project civil engineering activities and help team colleagues where necessary.
∎ Manage information flows between branch office and area office relevant personal and maintain professional relationship with different stakeholders.
∎ Support the project management team and civil engineers’ activities that may impact achievement including sustainability and post project requirements such as maintenance & audit etc.
∎ Initiate and lead relevant activities of pond re-excavation, relevant infrastructures to do the fish culture in the pond with caretaker shelter/shade.
∎ Provide technical supervision and cross checking of construction materials of pond and help WASH infrastructure and repairing/renovation works before installation maintaining set standards.
∎ Manage and review goods quality and ensure procurement as per project technical requirements in collaboration with respective procurement department.
∎ Provide regular written and verbal records to the Senior Programme Manager and Field implementation team on infrastructure development activities.
∎ Maintain detailed work plan and documentation of engineering work undertaken in the project, including site visits and reporting of work progress.
∎ Conduct regular monitoring and full technical supervision and provide technical inputs to the project participants (beneficiaries) as well working Rohingya labors.
∎ Identify and manage risks to ensure maximum benefit to participants and proper utilization of project resources.
∎ Manage construction contract by providing engineering support and process contract change orders and design revisions, as necessary.
∎ Attend relevant internal and external meetings with donors and other stakeholders.
∎ Ensure that all expenditures comply with BRAC Procurement and Financial Rules and Regulations.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
