You must be deeply committed to community development and adaptable to a rural, resource-constrained environment. Job Responsibilities:
Classroom Instruction & Literacy Building
Teach foundational English grammar, vocabulary, reading, and spoken skills.
Simplify complex language concepts for first-generation school learners.
Conduct interactive sessions using stories, rhymes, and educational games.
Encourage students to overcome hesitation and practice speaking English confidently.
Curriculum Adaptation & Material Creation
Adapt the National Curriculum (NCTB) to suit low-literacy levels.
Design low-cost, creative teaching aids using locally available resources.
Develop customized worksheets to bridge learning gaps among students.
Focus heavily on remedial lessons for students lagging behind academically.
Student Support & Mentorship
Provide emotional support and motivation to prevent student dropouts.
Identify individual learning barriers caused by socioeconomic challenges.
Foster a safe, joyful, and hygienic classroom learning environment.
Nurture moral values, ethics, and basic life skills during lessons.
Stakeholder Engagement & Administration
Counsel tea garden parents regularly on the importance of education.
Conduct home visits or community meetings to ensure regular attendance.
Maintain student progress trackers, attendance registers, and performance reports.
Collaborate with United Trust management to implement school development programs.
