Education:
∎ Bachelor/Honors in any discipline
∎ Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or any relevant discipline (e.g., Bangla, English, General Science, Social Science or equivalent).

∎ 2–3 years of teaching experience at the primary level (Classes 1–5) under the national curriculum is preferred.
∎ Preferred: B.Ed. or training in Primary Education Methodology will be an advantage.
∎ Strong communication skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Passion for teaching young children and patience in classroom management.
∎ Proficiency in basic ICT tools for teaching will be considered an asset.
∎ Willingness to work in a rural/underprivileged setting and contribute to the organization's vision.

∎ Muslim Hands is a UK-registered international relief and development NGO, established in 1993 in response to the Bosnian crisis. Since then, it has grown into a global humanitarian organization delivering emergency aid and long-term development programs in over 32 countries.
∎ Muslim Hands has been operating in Bangladesh since 1995, focusing on improving the lives of vulnerable communities through interventions in Education, Health, Food Security, Livelihoods, Shelter, WASH, Religious Infrastructure and Emergency Relief.
∎ Muslim Hands Model School, Dhaka, a part of our Education Programme is currently seeking a committed and compassionate Assistant Teacher General – English, Math, Primary to join our teaching team. The selected candidate will support the holistic learning and development of students from classes 1 to 5 based on the National Curriculum of Bangladesh.
∎ Prepare and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across core primary subjects (Bangla, English, Math, Science and Social Studies) in line with NCTB guidelines.
∎ Use diverse teaching aids and interactive methods to facilitate joyful learning and concept understanding.
∎ Conduct class tests, assignments and term exams regularly to evaluate academic progress.
∎ Maintain updated academic records and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians.
∎ Classroom & Student Management:
∎ Ensure a safe, disciplined and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and emotional growth.
∎ Provide individual attention and additional support to students with learning difficulties.
∎ Create a positive and nurturing learning environment that aligns with child rights and protection principles.
∎ Promote creativity, moral values and social responsibility through class activities and storytelling.

∎ Participate in training, workshops and regular academic planning with fellow teachers.
