Job Context

Globalwings Study Abroad is expanding its counseling team and is inviting applications for the position of Senior Student Counselor.

This role is ideal for experienced education counselors who are passionate about guiding students toward international education opportunities and helping them achieve their academic and career goals. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of international admissions and visa procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage student applications from initial counseling to visa approval.

As a Senior Student Counselor, you will be responsible for advising students on suitable study destinations, universities, and programs, assisting them with the application and visa process, and ensuring a high success rate in student placements. The role also involves contributing to business growth through student recruitment, participation in promotional events, and maintaining strong relationships with partner institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counseling

• Provide accurate guidance on study options in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada.

• Assess student profiles and recommend suitable courses, universities, and study pathways.

• Provide professional counseling to students and parents through meetings, calls, and online platforms.

• Conduct pre-departure briefings for students before their departure.

• Support marketing initiatives including social media content, videos, and promotional campaigns.

• Assist students with preparing essential documents, such as Statements of Purpose (SOPs), resumes, and financial statements.

Application & Visa Processing

• Manage student applications from initial consultation to visa approval.

• Assist students in preparing and organizing application documents such as study plans, academic records, financial documents, and letters of recommendation.

• Conduct interviews with students to understand their academic goals and suitability for programs.

• Achieve enrollment and visa success targets.

• Guide students in meeting English language requirements (IELTS/PTE/equivalent).

• Maintain communication with partner universities and track application progress.

• Provide updated advice on visa requirements, immigration policies, and compliance for each destination.
