∎ MBA in Marketing or Masters in Commerce from any recognized University/Educational Institute.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assistant Sales Manager shall be the responsible for assisting Sales Team in all aspects of Sales activities, maximize business opportunities as well as promote the Hotel's image through positive publicity, constructive public relations and appropriate awareness campaigns. The incumbent has to perform the following duties but not limited to, as follows:
∎ Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts' managerial and departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity.
∎ Achieve monthly Sales Targets and develop good relations with corporate guests.
∎ Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up selling opportunities whenever possible.
∎ Undertake direct sales solicitation on behalf of the hotel and calls on potential new accounts.
∎ Helps to prepare for annual budget, marketing/sales action plans as may be required by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
∎ Continuously update new business database and focus on key market segment, to promote hotel Rooms as well as Catering & Marketing activities.
∎ Perform any other lawful assignment given by the Competent Management as and when requirement basis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3-5 Years advanced experience in a 3 to 5 Star Hotel's core Sales & Marketing Team.
∎ Strong knowledge about Market trend, potential customers, target point of sales & innovative Marketing tools etc.
∎ Maximum 35 (thirty-five) years of age as of last date of submitting the application.
∎ Age and Experience limit may be relaxed for deserving candidates as per the discretion of the Management.
∎ Other Requirements:
∎ Presentable personality, well groomed, courteous and excellent inter-personal relationship skills.
∎ Fluent in spoken & written English and Bangla as well as very good in listening.
∎ Other language proficiency will be counted as an added advantage.
∎ Familiar with MS Office package and Internet Browsing.
∎ Strong Leadership skills & administrative capabilities are required.
∎ Should have a "Can Do Attitude".
∎ Ready to work extra hours irrespective of Duty schedule based on emergency situations.
