Experience:
Bachelor degree (science, social science or relevant) from reputed university.
Experience:
At least three (3) months of working experience in a similar position in reputed I/NGOs
Demonstrated experience of working with humanitarian NGOs and/or networks in Bangladesh is desirable
Core competencies:
Excellent Computer skills
Professionalism.
Good knowledge in English, Bangla and Chittagonian language is essential for field payment/.
Effective inter-personal skill and ability to work with different teams/units
Highly organized with strong prioritization skills;
Skills required:
Proficient in computers (Windows, spreadsheets and word processing);
Receptive and adherence to the internal regulation and working requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Field Activities
Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities, ensuring alignment with logframe indicators and donor requirements.
Develop and update monitoring checklists tailored to project outputs and outcomes.
Observe service delivery quality and beneficiary participation during field monitoring.
Document findings from field visits and share actionable recommendations with program teams.
Survey & Data Collection
Support design and administration of baseline, midline, and endline surveys.
Collect quantitative and qualitative data using tools such as Kobo, ODK, or paper-based questionnaires.
Ensure data quality through verification, cleaning, and validation processes.
Assist in training enumerators and field staff on survey tools and ethical data collection practices.
Reporting & Documentation
Draft monitoring reports, survey summaries, and donor-required updates with clear evidence and analysis.
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual MEAL reports, highlighting progress, challenges, and lessons learned.
Prepare case studies, success stories, and visual data presentations to support donor communication.
Maintain organized records of monitoring tools, datasets, and feedback logs.
Accountability & Learning
Assist in facilitating complaint and feedback mechanisms at the community level, ensuring confidentiality and timely resolution.
Promote awareness of accountability channels among beneficiaries.
Document lessons learned and best practices, feeding them into program review meetings.
Support knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen organizational learning.
Capacity Building & Coordination
Provide technical support to program staff on monitoring tools and reporting formats.
Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely data collection and submission.
Participate in MEAL-related workshops and trainings to enhance skills and organizational capacity.
Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
Ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary
Implement all work-related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries
Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities
Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees
Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
