Job Responsibilities:
∎ Familiarization and Mapping:
∎ Participate in service and community mapping (population data, familiar with leaders, sports field identification) as part of the community mobilization initiative
∎ Organize Sports activities/ sports-based intervention:
∎ Field identification
∎ Arrange sports sessions
∎ Distribute sports material to targeted men and boys and Maintenance of sports material
∎ Pre-post discussion on SGBV issues (Message delivery)
∎ Periodically arrange tournament
∎ Visibility in sports sessions
∎ Build rapport with new Women, Men, Girls & Boys and maintain relationship
∎ Facilitate awareness session:
∎ Facilitate awareness raising discussion with key religious leaders, potential leaders, teacher, Rohingya refugee men and boys on GBV prevention (Patriarchy, Toxic Masculinity, Harmful Gender Norms, child marriage, dowry system, polygamy, domestic violence, healthy family relationship, aggressive behavior/ positive construction of masculinity, anger management etc.)
∎ Volunteer identification, Train and follow up:
∎ Identification of role models from the awareness raising sessions, potential influencing person.
∎ Facilitate daily/bi-weekly/monthly GBV issue-based trainings/ awareness raising discussion with role models on GBV issues.
∎ To guide Role model to set up monthly target and follow up at the end of the month
∎ Meeting and Representation
∎ Attending in CiC coordination meeting and relevant platforms/ to represent GBV Prevention activities.
∎ Run and activate prevention group
∎ Identify positive minded prevention group and leader.
∎ Facilities awareness raising discussion bi-weekly with each group.
∎ Run and activate group through sport activities.
∎ Encourage group to speak out to reduce GBV.
∎ To help Groups to set up work plan to facilities awareness session.
∎ Support Male Survivor:
∎ Meeting with potential service provider
∎ Familiar with potential service provider
∎ Familiar and maintain relation with case management team
∎ To inform male survivor about available case management services following the survivor centered approach.
∎ Other Responsibilities:
∎ Run and post on WhatsApp group
∎ Actively address challenges in program implementation and propose solutions to the coordinator.
∎ Conduct GBV risk assessments with men and boys to gather information about safety and security of women and girls in their community and existing protection mechanisms
∎ Conduct FGD if required
∎ Create detailed weekly and monthly work plans, compile weekly report and help to prepare monthly newsletter.
∎ Other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Knowledge:
∎ Have knowledge or willingness to learn and challenge oneself and others regarding gender roles, power relationships and gender-based violence
∎ Needs experience and skills in working with leaders and influencers in the community.
∎ Patient, persuasive and have the confidence and experience needed to be taken seriously by leaders.
∎ Needs to understand community dynamics and how power flows through the community and need to be willing to let the male engagement community groups be in the spotlight
∎ Deep knowledge on Violence Against Women (VAW) and Male as Ally
∎ Knowledge on basic Gender issues
∎ Skills:
∎ Leadership skills and supervisory experience, including the ability to develop team performance
∎ Communication & Coordination Skills
∎ Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic and Assertive
∎ Problem-Solving Skills
∎ Familiarity with principles of monitoring & evaluation.
∎ Experience in writing brief narrative reports
∎ Able to work collaboratively with internal staff and external providers
∎ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
