Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration - 31 July, 2020 (possibility of extension depends on fund availability).
∎ Start Date - ASAP.
∎ Assistant Project Officer shall responsible for implementation of the project activities and provide necessary support to Model Mother for improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure timely and efficient implementation of project activities under guidance of the SPO and DPM.
∎ Select target beneficiary with proper process.
∎ Provide training to beneficiaries on Homestead gardening, Disaster Risk Reduction and Life skill training.
∎ Ensure the establishment of Homestead garden in all target beneficiary households.
∎ Monitor Model mother and courtyard session conducted by Model mother.
∎ Provide support to model mother during garden establishment and use of improved technology in the garden.
∎ Liaison with Govt. line department and other service provider to increase the beneficiaries capacity and movability.
∎ Organize Farmers Field day at Model mother’s house.
∎ Planning and implementation of emergency response after any disaster hit.
∎ Prepare monthly action plan and provide timely report to SPO and DPM.
∎ Participate in developing different monitoring tools (baseline & end line survey, post distribution monitoring.
∎ Assist in organizing and conducting baseline & end line survey, PDM.
∎ Regular monitoring and follow-up the project’s activities and progress.
∎ Assist DPM/ in writing relevant reports (APR, donor report, monitoring report, Case study, etc.)
∎ Participate in food security joint need assessments and surveys when needed.
∎ Participate in emergency food security response if any kind of disaster occurred.
∎ Ensure Proper communication between the stakeholders in the field.
∎ Support to establish network/linkage with government stakeholders, service providers and other private institutions related to the project.

Salary: Tk. 36574 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1-month Gross salary every year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year depending on performance.
∎ End of Contract Benefits: As per organization policy.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
