Educational Requirements:

∎ Degree ( BA/Pass Course) is required
∎ Bachelor (Honors) or equivalent degree in Nutrition/ health science/ social science or any relevant subject preferable

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1:
∎ Implement screening activities for under 5 children at the community level
∎ As assisted by CNVs, ensure all the under 05 children are screened through MUAC at household level and children at risk of malnutrition (<125 mm) has been referred to the growth monitoring point at for full screening.
∎ Ensuring the quality of the screening activity by regular monitoring and feedback to the community nutrition volunteers.
∎ Objective 2: Referral of under 5 children to growth monitoring point
∎ Ensure that all under five children referred by CNV from makeshift community or spontaneously presenting at nutrition center are undergoing anthropometric measurement (height, weight, MUAC, checking bilateral edema and W/H percentage).
∎ Ensure an effective referral system between community and nutrition center as well as admission of the confirmed cases.
∎ Objective 3: Follow up of malnourished cases detected in the community level at makeshift camp
∎ Crosscheck all the information of the referred acutely malnourished children and ensure their admission into appropriate nutrition centers (SC, OTP, and SF/ BSFP).
∎ Follow up and ensure home visit through (CNV) for the absent malnourished cases for admission, which did not arrive to the nutrition center.
∎ Objective 4: Follow up the Children ,Pregnant and lactating at household level
∎ Random follow up to see the consumption of the home ration (RUTF/ Dry nutrition food and high-energy biscuit) by the children, pregnant and lactating mother.
∎ Ensure regular household follow up by the community Nutrition volunteers.
∎ Ensure that all the target group beneficiaries received home ration and weekend/ holiday dry ration
∎ Ensure the follow up for the discharged children from OTP and pregnant and lactating mother to supplementary food program
∎ Objective 5: Reporting and statistic of the center
∎ Keep a tally of all the under 05 children, pregnant and lactating mother screened and the number of acute malnourished referred to the nutrition center.
∎ Crosscheck the number of referral cases from GM point to the nutrition center for admission.
∎ Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly statistical report and submit to the project officer.
∎ Organize monthly progress review meeting with Community Nutrition Volunteers.
∎ Objective 6: Arrangement and conduct of awareness sessions on nutrition related issues at block level
∎ Arrange and conduct male forum for the male members of the makeshift settlement.
∎ Arrange and conduct action-oriented session for the people of the makeshift settlement.
∎ Formation of mother support group composed of adolescent girls, pregnant, lactating mothers /volunteer women at each block level.
∎ Ensure basic nutrition, hygiene, IYCF practices among support group through provide counselling/ training to these groups. Also, need to provide message on the importance and appropriate method of breastfeeding and complementary feeding.
∎ Conduct IYCF rapid assessment on all the mothers and refer from community on needs.
∎ Objective 7: Communication, collaboration and coordination
∎ Keep a regular contact with elite people of the community, block leaders, majhis, and staff members of other stakeholder organization.
∎ Keep a good relationship with colleagues of MHCP, WaSH and other departments.
∎ Objective 8: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary;
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries;
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities;
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees;
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.

∎ Ability to work under pressure, set and manage priorities, work in a team
∎ At least 1 year working experience in health and nutrition related project will be preferred
Salary: Tk. 36574 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year;
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary;
∎ Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year depending on performance;
