Experience:
The candidate must Bachelor or Master’s degree in Social Science or any relevant discipline.
The candidate should have 2–4 years of field experience in development project. Strong skills in community mobilization and participant facilitation. Proficiency in MS Office applications and internet browsing. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in field settings. Willingness to travel extensively, with the ability to drive a motorcycle and a valid driving license.

Job Summary:
Jhanjira Samaj Kallyan Sangstha (JSKS) is a non-government development organization in the north-west region of Bangladesh. The main focusing area of work is promoting rights and protection, inclusive governance and social cohesion, gender equality and humanitarian response & building community resilience. Recently JSKS is implementing a Project “EMPOWER-Elevating Marginalized Populations through Women`s Equity and Representation” with the support of the Nagorikata-Civic Engagement Fund (CEF). S/he will play a vital role in Upazila level project implementation, capacity building of CBO’s members, stakeholder’s engagement, resource management, risk management, organizing and reporting & communication.
Job Description/Responsibility:
The Assistant Project Officer (APO) manages day-to-day project activities at the Upazila level, ensuring alignment with project goals. They collaborate with local communities, beneficiaries, and stakeholders to execute interventions, including organizing training, workshops, and awareness campaigns, with a focus on empowering Dalit and Adivasi communities, particularly women.

The salary package is monthly BDT 19,500, including all admissible benefits. Yearly festival allowance, increments and other benefits will be provided as per the organization`s policy and project allocation.
