  • The candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in managerial roles, demonstrating proven expertise in planning, budgeting, report writing, and monitoring & evaluation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bangla, as well as advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools. Experience in networking, establishing linkages, and fostering collaboration is essential. Additionally, the candidate should be willing to drive a motorcycle and hold a valid driving license.



Responsibilities & Context:

Jhanjira Samaj Kallyan Sangstha (JSKS) is a non-government development organization in the north region of Bangladesh. The organisation is seeking a competent candidate for the position under its program “EMPOWER – Elevating Marginalized Populations through Women’s Equity and Representation,” an initiative of Nagorikata: Civic Engagement Fund (CEF) implemented in partnership with GFA Consulting Group.

Position Title: Project Manager (PM)

Location: Dinajpur (4 Upazila’s).

Project period: Up to 17 June, 2027

Job Summary:

The Project Manager (PM) of the “EMPOWER – Elevating Marginalized Populations through Women’s Equity and Representation” Project will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities in line with JSKS and donor guidelines. Working under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the PM will lead the project team across four Upazilas to ensure timely delivery of outputs, quality assurance, and meaningful engagement with Dalit, Adivasi, and other marginalized communities. Key responsibilities include developing and executing work plans, managing budgets and resources, overseeing both financial and narrative reporting, and ensuring compliance with organizational and donor policies. The PM will also facilitate staff capacity building, maintain effective coordination with local government institutions, CBOs, and civil society partners, and serve as the primary liaison with the donor. Additionally, the role entails promoting women’s leadership, gender equity, and inclusive governance through rights-based and gender-transformative programming. The position demands strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, along with a deep commitment to advancing social justice and equality at the grassroots level.

Reporting to: Executive Director of JSKS



Job Other Benifits:

    The salary package is monthly BDT 70,000, including all admissible benefits. Yearly festival allowance, increments and other benefits will be provided as per the organization`s policy and project allocation.
