Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. The Assistant production manager receives the order plan and order sheet from the senior authorities.
∎ 2. APM will prepare garments production plans weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
∎ 3. APM will receive material status against each order and will monitor the progress of material received.
∎ 4. APM will receive an approved sample, swatch card against the order sheet.
∎ 5. APM ensures that Garments production lines are properly balanced for target output.
∎ 6. APM coordinates with the quality manager so that defective or faulty goods are not produced.
∎ 7. APM provides job assignments to supervisors and other subordinates.
∎ 8. APM ensures that the floor, machinery, toilet, dining spaces is neat and clean.
∎ 9. APM will have a pre-production sample prepared and compared with the originally approved sample.
∎ 10. APM makes the right evaluation of the performance of his subordinates.
∎ 11. APM arranged for proper documentation of all the activities on the floor.
∎ 12. The Assistant production manager will make arrangements for the right line layout or machine layout.
∎ 13. As a leader, he inspires unites employees for better works, better motivation.
∎ 14. He organizes pre-production meetings or pre-production activities to discuss related issues.
∎ 15. He monitors the progress of production against the production plan.
∎ 16. He is responsible for ensuring discipline on the floor.
∎ 17. He takes care of the worker’s safety and welfare.
∎ 18. He monitor hourly, daily, monthly target so that the production target achieved as per plan.
∎ 19. He maintain on time shipment with 99.5% cut out ship.
∎ 20. He maintain absenteeism and workers turnover.
∎ 21. He monitors team members discipline and responsibilities.
∎ 22. He reduce permanent rejection rate and fulfill cut quality.
∎ 23. He find out line problems from production monitoring board and give solution.
