• Updated knowledge on sewing technology, garments quality.

• Modern methods used in sewing floor. People management skill.

• Ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) of finished products to the next production line or department.

• Monitor product standards and enforce quality control programs in accordance with QMS guidelines.

• Manage fabric quality segregation, obtain QC approval for samples/sizes/patterns, and oversee bulk sewing accordingly.

• Input Purchase Order (PO) details and other relevant data into the QMS system.

• Collaborate with Merchandising, Sourcing, Technical Design, and other production units to align operations with divisional objectives from design to delivery.

• Identify production bottlenecks and opportunities to increase efficiency across lines or units.

• Lead and support the implementation of Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing practices.

• Minimize Non-Productive Time (NPD) of machinery and reduce process material loss and Cost Per Minute (CPM).

• Coordinate and delegate daily production tasks as per finalized production schedules from Pre-Production Planning (PPP) meetings.

• Understand and support sample assessments, pattern making, production, and garment construction.

• Drive manpower optimization and reduce Excess Over Time (EOT).Maintain shop floor processes & systems for raw material utilization as per inventory availability.

• Coordinate with the Supply Chain team and material handlers to ensure timely material supply to workstations.

• Control section-wise costs, such as raw material, yarn, fabric wastage, and layout efficiency.

• Maintain and analyze data related to energy, raw materials, consumables, and production cost.

• Ensure daily clearance of unit-wise production costs.

• Supervise data entry of inventory, raw materials, machine capacity, process-wise data, etc., into the company ERP system.

• Collaborate with the ERP & MIS team for generating reports on wastage, dead stock, rework stock, and prepare analytics for management decisions.
