∎ B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Agriculture
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead a separate team to conduct adaptive trials of newly developed breed from own R&D or foreign companies at different geographical locations of the country for demonstrating its features to the distributors, retailers and end users.
∎ Characterize & segment the selected crop varieties with existing market leading crop varieties.
∎ Arrange comparative hybrid trial for identifying the differentiation traits of the products
∎ Monitor frequent field visit of PDS Station the team at different seed marketing hub to popularize products throughout the country.
∎ Prepare and monitor the implementation of the product promotional plan in a regular basis.
∎ Prepare annual budget for PDS unit and managing and controlling expenditure within agreed budget.
∎ Assess training needs for PDS staff individuals and arrange training accordingly.
∎ Recruit, manage and develop direct reporting staffs of PDS.
∎ Maintain liaison with concern portfolio lead for selecting new crops for commercial
∎ Gather and record data precisely, analyze the data and present the reports by monthly.
∎ Report weakly and monthly activities to GM, Marketing and Sales as regular basis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years experience in relevant field in Seed industry
∎ Sound technical knowledge
∎ Excellent communication & interpersonal skill
