Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities

Outlet Operations Management

  • Assist in managing all day-to-day outlet operations.

  • Ensure smooth opening and closing of the outlet.

  • Monitor operational activities and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Maintain outlet discipline, cleanliness, and service standards.

  • Ensure all operational procedures are followed properly.

Sales & Revenue Management

  • Support the achievement of monthly sales targets.

  • Analyze daily sales reports and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Monitor product-wise sales performance.

  • Assist in planning promotional campaigns and sales activities.

  • Ensure maximum product availability to avoid stock-outs.

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and stock movement.

  • Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory counts.

  • Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

  • Reduce wastage, damages, expiry losses, and shrinkage.

  • Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for stock replenishment.

Team Supervision

  • Supervise sales associates, cashiers, and support staff.

  • Prepare employee duty rosters and shift schedules.

  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.

  • Provide coaching and on-the-job training to team members.

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Ensure excellent customer experience at all times.

  • Resolve customer complaints effectively and professionally.

  • Monitor customer feedback and implement service improvements.

  • Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.

Cash & POS Operations

  • Supervise POS operations and ensure transaction accuracy.

  • Monitor cash handling procedures and daily cash reconciliation.

  • Ensure proper management of discounts, returns, exchanges, and refunds.

  • Coordinate with the accounts department regarding financial discrepancies.

Merchandising & Product Display

  • Ensure proper shelf arrangement and product visibility.

  • Maintain attractive product displays according to company guidelines.

  • Ensure accurate pricing and promotional signage.

  • Monitor expiry dates and product quality standards.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

  • Generate sales, inventory, and performance reports.

  • Report operational issues and improvement recommendations to management.

  • Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
