Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in Textile Engineering/Industrial Engineering and MBA in Supply Chain Management.
∎ PDG in SCM will get preference for this position.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Demand Forecasting Support:
∎ i. Analyzing demand forecasts provided by the sales team.
∎ ii. Determine production quantities based on style and category of garments.
∎ iii. Calculate production lead times.
∎ Capacity Planning Assistance:
∎ i. Aid in evaluating resources, including man, machines, fabric, and accessories.
∎ ii. Assist in determining the capacity of production lines based on available resources
∎ Material Planning
∎ i. ensure timely availability of materials: fabric and accessories.
∎ ii. Production planning by maintaining buffer stocks of materials.
∎ Production Scheduling
∎ i. Capacity booking and line loading planning on a daily basis.
∎ ii. Participate in creating backward plans
∎ iii. Production schedules, and delivery dates.
∎ iv. Allocating the necessary resources to each production line to meet production targets within specified time frames.
∎ Monitoring Production & Quality
∎ i. Help monitor the progress of production to ensure that production targets are met.
∎ ii. Identify any production plan deviations and contribute to corrective actions.
∎ iii. Participate in quality checks to maintain high-quality standards.
∎ Analysis & Reports:
∎ i. Generate regular reports on Plan vs production progress.
∎ ii. Root cause analysis for any production-related issues
∎ iii. Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
