Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical maintenance team.
∎ Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems and equipment.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of plant facilities.
∎ Assist to Department Head for planning, budgeting, and executing electrical projects, including upgrades, installations, and expansions.
∎ Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
∎ Ensure all electrical work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
∎ Promote and enforce safety standards and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
∎ Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
∎ Provide training, guidance, and support to electrical technicians to enhance their skills and performance.
∎ Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the electrical maintenance team.
∎ Monitor and analyze the performance of electrical systems and equipment, identifying areas for improvement.
∎ Implement energy-saving initiatives and strategies to reduce electrical consumption and costs.
∎ Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical technology and recommend upgrades or modifications as needed.
∎ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and project progress.
∎ Prepare and submit regular reports on electrical system status, maintenance activities, and project updates to the Department Head.
∎ Ensure all documentation related to electrical systems for RSC, including manuals, and maintenance logs, is up to date and accessible.
∎ Coordinate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and safety, to support overall plant operations and achieve organizational goals.
