Job Context:
∎ Working under the Head of Payment Unit of Group Finance Division to support centralized payment process.
∎ Designation: SO/JAVP/FAVP
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To have comprehensive knowledge on accounts payable management and payment process including all relevant controls and compliance.
∎ Daily Transaction Processing of Revenue Expenditure and Capital Expenditure.
∎ Calculating & deducting VAT & Tax at source against bills and record keeping.
∎ Ensuring all payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner following the Standard Operation Procedure and approved policy of the Bank.
∎ Preparing daily MIS related to payments and reconciliation between bills received and paid on monthly basis.
∎ To implement all payment related controls in place and to monitor compliance against them so that the Payment Unit can ensure that there is no duplication in bill receiving and payments.
∎ Providing support to Managers/Unit Heads to assist with daily workload of team addressing bottlenecks and ensuring payments are processed within SLAs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ MBA in Accounting/ Finance/Honors & Masters in any subject of Commerce discipline is preferred.
∎ Candidates must complete CA
∎ Minimum 5 years work experience in Accounts Payable management under Finance Division of a Bank.
∎ Adequate knowledge on Tax laws as well as Internal Control System including payment process, financial management of a Bank is must.
