Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
Experience Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that all new employees attend the Hotel Orientation program.
∎ Assist HOD to conduct training needs analysis of the hotel and departments.
∎ In conjunction with Department Heads, develop departmental on the job training schedules that meet departmental operating objectives.
∎ Assist HOD to design, produce and implement training programs to meet specific department/hotel needs.
∎ Work with HOD to establish a training library of books, videos, journals and resources to assist trainer and staff development.
∎ Assist HOD to prepare and administer the training calendar on a regular basis.
∎ Ensure all staff receives ongoing training in Corporate Training Programs.
∎ Facilitate management training programs.
∎ Source and obtain specialist assistance to conduct training when needed.
∎ Monitor all training activities conducted on and off site.
∎ Evaluate training effectiveness by attending as many training sessions as possible.
∎ Liaise with educational institutions conducting hospitality training courses.
∎ Maintain an up to date record of suppliers of training resources.
∎ Implement opportunities for quality Team Building.
∎ Ensure that all associates comply with the grooming and uniform standards.
∎ Ensure compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace.
∎ Comply with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures.
∎ Promote by example the principles of "The Power of Service".
∎ Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike.
∎ Assist HOD to manage the administration of trainees and apprentices on the property.
∎ Assist the Human Resources Department by fulfilling various human resources functions including, Recruitment and Selection, reference checking, filling etc.
∎ Arranges interviews by coordinating schedules; calling applicants for interview and escorting them to interviews.
∎ Coordinate associates accommodation requests.
∎ Maintain Associate Notice boards.
∎ Ensure that all associates comply with the grooming and uniform standards.
∎ Maintain adequate stock supply in Human Resources Office.
∎ Uphold the Marriott culture by demonstrating the Service Culture Standards at all times to guests and fellow associates.
∎ Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety rules, and related "Le Meridien Dhaka" and Marriott Policies.
∎ Anticipate guest's needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.
∎ Align working practices and conduct with Le Meridien Dhaka Vision; consistently strive to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external guests.
∎ Handle internal customer concerns with empathy and understanding.
∎ Carry out any additional duties as requested by the supervisor and Hotel Management.
