Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The candidate should have experience in Product Development and be able to Interpret design sketches.
∎ Able to fit and alter garments to buyer's requirements.
∎ Manage the Critical Path in each department.
∎ Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across all Brands and departments.
∎ Able to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively.
∎ Provide direction and technical expertise for the technical team during fitting and sealing.
∎ Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation.
∎ Must provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members.
∎ Provide an efficient working atmosphere to the teams and ensure objectives are met within stipulated time.
∎ Conduct performance reviews of team members and identify areas of improvement, give feedback and recommend for promotions and or salary increments.
∎ Oversee all the garment technician functions.
∎ Be able to handle factories effectively and build relationship with factories.
∎ Fabric consumption calculation manually and CAD.
∎ Experience in Pattern Cutting and Pattern correction manually and CAD.
∎ Confident and clear communication skills.
∎ An experienced Technical Manager is required for a reputed multinational apparel sourcing office of kids and baby wear products of woven and knit (Jersey) to Brands like Tesco, George, Sainsbury (TU) etc.

∎ Graduate / Masters Degree or equivalent Diploma from any reputed Foreign and local University. Preference may be given to candidate possessing Certificate in Garment Manufacturing or Clothing Technology.
