Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing & Material Procurement

• Source high-quality raw materials (such as chemical resins, specialized yarn, paper/board, pigments, and metal alloys) from both local and international vendors.

• Conduct continuous market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and credit facilities with suppliers.

• Manage the procurement cycle based on Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to minimize production downtime and avoid excess inventory.

2. Supply Chain Coordination & RMG Alignment

• Coordinate closely with the Production, Sales, and Merchandising teams to align material availability with urgent buyer delivery dates.

• Track factory booking schedules and adjust supply chain pipelines to fulfill short-lead-time orders typical of the garments accessories industry.

3. Import Logistics & Customs Clearance

• Manage international procurement activities, including handling Proforma Invoices (PI), opening Back-to-Back Letters of Credit (L/C), or TT payments.

• Prepare and verify shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin) for smooth port operations.

• Liaise with C&F agents to expedite customs clearance at key ports (Chattogram, Dhaka Airport, Benapole) and control demurrage/detention costs.

4. Inventory Control & Warehouse Management

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished accessories at the factory warehouse.

• Implement strict inventory management practices (FIFO/FEFO) to eliminate waste, material damage, or dead stock.
