∎ Candidates must have good understanding of food ingredients and where they are used.
∎ Strong knowledge of Bangladesh food and beverage industry is a must for the job role.
∎ This role requires extensive travel within and outside of Dhaka to meet existing and potential customers.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Candidate must have good understanding of food ingredients such as flavours, hydrocolloids/stabilizers, enzymes, modified starches, emulsifier etc.
∎ Have strong understanding of Bangladesh food and beverage market.
∎ Conduct market research to identify new clients and business opportunities.
∎ Build up strong understanding of ingredient portfolio through internal training and self-reading materials.
∎ Promote the company’s food ingredient product portfolio addressing or predicting clients’ objectives and needs.
∎ Have strong communication skills to properly coordinate projects received from customers with the R&D teams based across the globe.
∎ Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries/shipment and provide after sales support to clients.
∎ Prepare sales reports and provide sales forecasts to internal team.
∎ Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
∎ Preference will be given to candidates with education in food science, chemistry, pharmaceutical or MBA from a reputed university.
