Additional Requirements:
Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and quality standards ( AQL).
Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
Proficiency in quality audit processes and technical knowledge of sewing machinery.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities & Context:
Implement and monitor quality control systems at various stages of the production process.
Conduct quality checks on raw materials (sewing threads, label and fabrics) and finished products to ensure they meet set standards.
Ensure the quality of knitted garments adheres to customer specifications, international standards, and compliance regulations.
Supervise and coordinate in-line and final inspection processes.
Ensure every product meets the required AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards.
Identify defects in production and implement corrective actions.
Work closely with production, cutting, sewing, and finishing teams to maintain consistent quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Participate in pre-production meetings to ensure quality standards are communicated and understood by production staff.
Address any quality-related non-conformance issues and initiate improvement actions.
Ensure that all quality certification and documentation are up to date.
Implement quality control initiatives to reduce defect rates, minimize waste, and improve production efficiency.
